To date, Restless have had 43 officially released records, done thousands of performances, sold 100,000's of records, and more recently had millions of streams. Over the years they have built up a huge Worldwide cult following that continues to sustain them with Festivals appearances and grass roots shows. When founder Ben, and co-founder Mark Harman put the band together, they were just teenagers. When they relased their first album in 1982 Ben was 18, Mark was 17, and Paul, (Marks brother) was 16.

Even after all this time, Restless is still a major force in updating the Rockabilly style and sound. With the band being one of the main players in creating the sub genre Neo-Rockabilly, they have been hugely influential and acclaimed in and out of the Rockabilly/Rockin’ scene.

Restless built up their fan base touring the grass roots Rockabilly scene, college circuit, and mainland Europe. They consolidated their following sharing the stage with bands The Clash, The Ramones, and The Damned. John Peel cited Restless as one of his favourite Rockabilly bands. Being regulars at London venues The Klubfoot, and Dingwalls in London, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page could often be seen in the audience.

The 1980's was arguably Restless most active period in which toured extensively getting national radio airplay, and many European TV appearances. The 1990's saw the Rockabilly scene move more towards festival events. Restless easily rose to this challenge relishing the big stages and large crowds and still do.
